MOVIE CHECK- Dark Shadows

Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures brought you another tandem of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp which also starred by powerhouse cast; Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Eva Green, Jackie Earle Haley, Jonny Lee Miller, Bella Heathcote, Chloe Moretz and newcomer Gulliver McGrath.

In the year 1752, Joshua and Naomi Collins, with young son Barnabas, set sail from Liverpool, England to start a new life in America. But even an ocean was not enough to escape the mysterious curse that has plagued their family. Two decades pass and Barnabas (Johnny Depp) has the world at his feet- or at least the town of Collinsport, Maine. The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas is rich, powerful and an inveterate playboy... until he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green). A witch, in every sense of the world, Angelique dooms him to a fate worse than death: turning him into a vampire, and then burying him alive.

Two centuries later, Barnabas is inadvertently freed from his tomb and emerges into the very changed world of 1972. He returns to Collinwood Minor to find that his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin. The dysfunctional remnants of the Collins family have fared little better, each harboring their own dark secrets. Matriarch Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Michelle Pfeiffer) has called upon live-inpsychiatrist, Dr. Julia Hoffman (Helena Bonham Carter), to help with her family troubles.

Also residing in the manor is Elizabeth's ne'er-do-well brother, Roger Collins (Jonny Lee Miller); her rebellious teenage daughter Carolyn Stoddard (Chloe Moretz); and Roger's precocious 10- year-old son, David Collins (Gulliver McGrath). The mystery extends beyond the family, to caretaker Willie Loomis, played by Jackie Earle Haley, and David's new nanny, Victoria Winters, played by Bella Heathcote.

The movie will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures on May 11, 2012.

The Hot Man of the Week- ALEX PETTYFER

Month of February for me is full of momentous tragic events. One of which was the high intensity of earthquake in Cebu then followed by the false Tsunami alarm which almost turned my Singapore tour a great fiasco!

If ever another catastrophe would ruin our appealing nature and abolish the human species, then i will run to the beastly Alex Pettyfer. Not because that i he would be my hero but only to chase the chance of sharing my luscious lips with him...

This I am Number 4 star was born in Hertfordshire and raised in Windsor. His mother, Lee, is an interior designer. His father, Richard Pettyfer, is a fellow actor. His parents divorced and Alex now has a younger half- brother, James, from his mother's re-marriage to a property developer, Michael. James is a junior tennis player.

At age 7, Alex started modeling for Gap's children range. He also appeared in TV commercials for the other brands. When he was older, he modeled for Burberry to fund his traveling adventures.

At age 13, he auditioned and won a role in the TV movie Tom Brown's Schooldays(2005) (TV). At age 15, he went to Los Angeles and was cast as Alex Rider, the main character in Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker (2006). This was his breakthrough role and he was nominated for a Young Artist Award and an Empire Award for this role.

The Hot Man of the Week- ZAC EFRON

This first quarter of 2012, there will be more hottest actors that i would be featuring, and let me start it with this Hollywood sexy actor Zac Efron.

Born in San Luis Obispo, California, and raised nearby in Arroyo Grande, Zac Efron took his first step toward acting at the age of 11 when his parents took note of his singing ability. Singing lessons soon led to an appearance in the production of "Gypsy" that ran 90 performances and he was hooked. After appearing on-stage in "Peter Pan," "Auntie Mame", "Little Shop of Horrors" and "The Music Man", guest parts quickly followed on television series, including "Firefly" (2002), "ER" (1994), and "The Guardian" (2001). After guest-starring in several episodes of "Summerland" (2004), he joined the regular cast as girl-crazy Cameron Bale. Efron also starred in several pilots such as The Big Wide World of Carl Laemke (2003) (TV) and Triple Play (2004) (TV). He also recently starred as an autistic child in the television movie Miracle Run (2004) (TV), alongside Mary-Louise Parker and Aidan Quinn.

According to my resourceful knowledge ;) He is a fan of comic books and manga, including Death Note, Bleach, Naruto, Dragonball Z, and Shonen Jump. Also recognized by Time Magazine in the 2009 Time 100 as one of the world's 100 most influential people

Really, my love affair with Zac Efron started with that Vanessa Hudgens flick Highschool Musical back in my college days. You know, the one where they sweetly sing together and ends up with charming romance. Well, I fell hard for him too after that movie. My naughty thoughts and crushing on Zac was reignited by 2009′s 17 Again where he played Duke. I mean, really, Zac running around showing off balls (as a basketball player...hehehe) , his abs, being a bad ass? Needless to say it’s one of the few original VCD movies I own just for ahem, special reference and research.

We all like it when hot models like Zac can transition into being an “actor” though we know it’s mostly because of his dashing looks, smooth muscles, and overall “guy I’d like to see in my bed” look. So, enjoy this super expanded gallery of photos of Zac Efron in various states of undress.

Wall of Fame- Ms. Elizabeth Belarmino

If my biological mom has a missing piece, then i guess i found it... She is everybody's missing treasure... There is no need for you to dig somewhere in Africa or wade through the Atlantic ocean... Even the book of Indiana Jones doesn't have its details... Because she is just in front of you and uncovered... I am referring to the every Qualfonian's mom... Ms. Elizabeth Belarmino...

I choose her to be the first one to be featured in my Wall of Fame. She originates existence to anything and that is certainly more than what a wall-famer can do.

A genuine woman who was born on January 17, 1962 and a proud mother of well-raised 2 girls and a fully grown man. At her age, she already achieved so many precious recognitions. Those may not be seen in commemorative inscribed tablet but we recognized her by heart with full of gratitude.

She incontestably unravel so many questions that none in the edge of position could answer. As one-of-us-employees, she leads the leaders by the time they are lost. That is why I am always confident every time she is always behind me. Because I know that she is only one step closer to comfort me (am I being selfish??? hehehe). She is one step closer to everyone who deserves her attention.

We talked too much about our daily experiences, you ought to know that she has a lot of stories to tell. Haven't I mentioned yet that you gotta learn more from her stories??? Hope this question of mine would roll you out from your bed... Not all the lessons are in the book-she is really a big lesson to me... Not all the books are already published-read it between and beyond the lines-I already got it;)... Sometimes, you have to open your eyes because you might be in the most exciting chapter in your life... And knowing Mommy Beth is one of the best pages!!!
